COLORS: These bracelets are available in Silver and PVD Black.
FINISH: With brushed links on the edges and polished links down the middle and a buckle with the same finish, this bracelet pairs well with all finishes of our watches, including the beadblast finish.
SIZE: To give this bracelet a more tailored fit, we have tapered it from 22mm at the lugs down to 18mm at the buckle with 5 removeable links; 2 above the clasp where our W logo is, and 3 on the channel side of the bracelet. The 2 links that are removeable above the logoed clasp are the second and the third full links away from the logo part of the clasp. Three additional micro adjustment settings in the channel allows this band to fit wrist sizes from approximately 9.25” to 6.75”.
WEIGHT: We matched the size and contours of the links to our lug dimension so the transition from watch case to bracelet makes it feel like a natural extension of the watch. At a range of 3.4 to 4 ounces, depending on how many adjustment links you take out, this bracelet will at least double the overall weight of your watch.
COMPATIBLE WATCHES: This bracelet will fit ALL watches we have made SINCE 2019. These watches have Swiss Movements which are denoted by “SWISS MOVT” at the bottom of the dial. This bracelet will NOT fit our inaugural FIRST WAVE watches (Patriot, Defender, Classic), certain airframe specific and custom squadron watches made prior to 2019 without our Swiss Movement. If you are unsure of the compatibility, reach out to us and we will let you know.
PRICE: $205 when purchased separately or $145 when purchased as an upgrade to a Custom Squadron Watch in place of the standard band.
OTHER FEATURES: A jewelers screwdriver package for $40 is available for purchase that will contain all the tools you will need to size and maintain your bracelet. Even if you take this to a jeweler for initial sizing, we recommend this collection of tools.
FASTENING TIPS: When initially fastening the bracelet to the watch, make sure that the spring bars are fully engaged and inserted into the fastening holes in the watch lugs. Since the metal link is already a tight fit between the lugs, it is possible for the link to seem secure but the spring bar may not be fully engaged. The best way to check for proper attachment is to make sure there is no gap created when you move the first link around between the lugs to test the attachment. You can also use a magnifying glass to confirm that the tip of the spring bars is fully engaged within the lug fastening holes.
LINK REMOVAL TIPS: When using the provided 0.6mm screwdriver to remove and replace the screws in the 2 removable links above the logo and the 3 removable links that slide into the channel part of the buckle , use small turns (counterclockwise to loosen) so you don’t strip the slotted screw head. After unthreading the screws, you may need to use the stub tip of one of the tools in the package to push the screw out of the links from the other side. When replacing the screws, be careful not to overtighten to prevent from stripping the slotted head. Inspect the screws periodically to make sure they have not become dislodged.
BRACELET MICRO ADJUSTMENTS: If the removal of the full links is not enough for the desired tightness, 3 micro adjustments are available in the channel part of the buckle. To adjust the micro adjustments in the buckle portion of the watch, release the spring bar using the 0.2mm tip provided in the tool package and slide the link to one of the other two micro adjustment positions. This is a tight fit and may require a jeweler to assist with the adjustment.
REPLACING LINKS: Once you have set the size of your metal bracelet, when screwing the link screws back in, we recommend that you use a glue such as Locktite 243 on the threads to prevent the screws from coming loose.
