The Aviator is one of the first 4 watches in our new Squadron Line of watches. Based on the custom designs worn by thousands of military pilots around the world, these watches represent nearly a decade of refinement and upgrades that we’ve made in order to bring affordable, classic aviation style watches to everyone.
The Aviator draws its inspiration from classic aviation watches worn throughout history, particularly those worn by fighter and bomber pilots in WWII. The black, white, and silver combination give this watch an absolutely timeless aviation look, while also making it easy to read. It comes paired with our black tapered Pilot Strap leather band, and is the ultimate companion to any aviator or aspiring aviator out there.

Band Options: This watch will come standard with one of our stitched leather, Ballistic Nylon NATO strap, or Tactical FKM Rubber band. Make your selection below.
METAL BRACELET UPGRADE: If you want to UPGRADE to a matching metal bracelet, INSTEAD of the standard leather band for an additional $145, you will still need to select a standard band to proceed with the order. Once you add the watch and band to your cart, select the metal bracelet item that will appear in your cart and add it to your order. Then use promocode metalupgrade25. Please note that you will STILL need to select a standard band to complete the order. But if you use the promocode, we will know that you want to replace the standard band with the metal bracelet.
If you want BOTH the standard band and the metal bracelet, DO NOT use the promocode. Just select your bands of choice and the metal bracelet item and you will get the metal bracelet at the current sales price. The promocode is to be used if you want the metal bracelet ONLY.
Caseback Orientation: Please note that the caseback “design” pictured in this gallery is oriented exactly in line with the watch face for presentation purposes only. During production, the caseback is a separate piece of the watch. When the casebacks are engraved with the airframe design, they are not attached to the rest of the case at that time. Since both the casebacks and cases are threaded separately, when the engraved caseback is then screwed onto the case, the final tightening point will result in the caseback design not being in the exact orientation in relation to the watch face. And there will be some variation from watch to watch.

Movement: Swiss Ronda 5021.d.
- Our “Americhrono” watch using a high-end Swiss chronograph movement.
- 2 positioned chronograph.
- 2 recessed sub-dials. 60 minute and 60 second.
- Pull/Push crown used to set the time/date and to adjust chronograph settings.
Case: 44mm wide, 10.5mm thick 316 stainless steel.
- At 10.5mm, this watch has a sleek profile on your wrist, unlike many of the 44mm+ sized watches that look big and bulky.
- The case-back is screwed on and engraved separately from watch to protect the movement from damage from the engraving laser. This process is used in most high-end watches and leads to the caseback engraving not “lining up” with the watch.
- 316 stainless steel is the “go-to” steel for all high-end watches. It is a surgical grade stainless steel that is finished with either a brushed or polished texture.
Hands: Proprietary “continuous curve” hands with subset luminescent markers on the minute and hour hands, as well as on the 2 sub-dials.
Strap: Choose from Genuine Oil Tanned leather, Nylon NATO, or FKM Tactical Rubber.

Metal Bracelets: Custom made for our watch case for a tailored fit. This 3 Link Oyster Style bracelet is made from 316 Stainless Steel with a Flip-Clasp Folding buckle for added closure security on your wrist.

Sapphire Crystal Window: Used in all luxury watches, it provides a much higher scratch resistance than the more common mineral glass.
- Hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale.
- Only surpassed by diamond in terms of hardness.
- Sourced from Switzerland with an anti-reflective coating on the inside and outside of the crystal.
Water Resistance: By no means is this a diving watch, but is it water resistant to 100 meters . Not recommended to spend a prolonged amount of time in the water.
Other internal components: Top and bottom rockers are 100% stainless steel, and they run through a stainless steel routing into the movement increasing the strength by an order of magnitude.
